Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Alexandra Trust website and platform (the "Service"), operated by E & F Associates S.R.L., a company registered in Bolivia with Tax ID (NIT) / Commercial Registry (SEPREC) No. 555134028 and registered address at Calle Los Ambaibos No. 81, El Remanso 3, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia ("Alexandra Trust", "we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a plan you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Alexandra Trust is a software platform that searches original public sources and produces due diligence reports about companies and individuals for legitimate business purposes, such as evaluating a business partner, supplier, investment or acquisition. Reports reflect the information available in the consulted sources at the time of generation and state the coverage achieved.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and act on behalf of yourself or an organisation you are authorised to bind. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Permitted purpose and prohibited uses
Before each investigation you must declare a legitimate business purpose. You must not use the Service or any report:
- to make decisions about an individual's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance or any other purpose regulated by the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws;
- to stalk, harass, threaten, discriminate against or locate any person;
- in breach of data protection, privacy or any other applicable law;
- to resell or redistribute reports except as permitted by your plan.
We may suspend accounts that breach this section.
4. Nature of the information
Information comes from third-party public sources that may contain errors, be incomplete or be out of date. A "possible match" is not an attribution, and the absence of a result is not proof that no record exists. Reports are informational and do not constitute legal, financial or investment advice or a certification of any person or company. You are responsible for your own decisions and for verifying findings where the stakes require it.
5. Plans, credits and payment
Plans, prices, credits and credit consumption are described on our pricing page and shown before each investigation. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns related to payment.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and report format belong to E & F Associates S.R.L.. Underlying public records remain subject to the terms of their original publishers. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use reports for your internal business purposes.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of reports.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or legal requirement. You may close your account at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service at least 15 days in advance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
